At Las Vegas in ongoing Consumer Electronic Show(CES), HP showed the world its new Elite Dragonfly G2 laptop. This laptop is an updated version of the previous Dragonfly laptop, which was just launched a few months back.
The HP Elite Dragonfly G2 laptop has high-end specs and is now featuring 10th gen Intel Core vPro Comet Lake processors, which are just awesome in its performance and battery efficiency. There are other upgrades also, but it depends upon us whenever we want it or not, as they are completely optional.
On the outside, it’s more or less the same as the previous Dragonfly laptop. But there are a couple of other changes inside. There is 5G support now, which is when you buy it with a new Snapdragon X55 5G modem. This modem is very new to the market and can be found only in flagship Android phones, but for enabling 5G, they have to wait till later the end of the year.
On the inside, there is also HP’s third-gen display privacy technology, which is called Sure View Reflect. This feature will have a copper screen on your display and let nobody see what you are doing on it as it stops the lights from display to be seen after a certain angle. This feature is also in HP’s Spectre X360 laptop for privacy when someone is peeking on your screen from the side.
There is also optional upgrade support for users who wants to track their laptops. This will allow them to track their laptops all the time. HP Elite Dragonfly G2 is also the world’s first notebook with parts made of ocean-bound plastic, and 82% of its mechanical parts are made of recycled material, which is just great. HP also showed some other laptops, displays, and accessories at the CES.
